How do i get my shooting back in basketball?

I used to be a pure shooter, but when i practiced the other aspects of my game like slashing and weights training, i seem to have lost my shooting touch. My coach gave me some tips in shooting but it just ain't working for me. Please help me.|||with lifting weights and such your muscles have changed and now your probably stronger. You will just have to practice to adjust to your new strength.|||do it the old school way... go out to the basketball court and shoot till u can't lift ur arms anymore, then go out next day and do it again. most important thing is to FIND YOUR RANGE, and master shooting from that distance across different angles.|||I have to continue to practice all aspects of your game all the time. Start with you weaker one first and go from there but you have to practice all of them!|||PRACTICE... KEEP SHOOTING... DO SOME SHOOTING DRILLS IT WILL COME BACK... YOU BODY HAS TO ADJUST WITH THE WEIGHT TRAINING YOU DID.|||watch some vids on youtube (especially the ray allen vids)

put your dominant foot forward. the big toe of that foot should be aligned with the repective knee, elbow, and index finger when lining up for a free throw. the other hand should be (very) minimally guiding the shot.

if you have access to a court, take a 100 free throws a day and count your daily makes.

before going to bed or when waking up, you can do the shooting drill where you lay flat on the bed while shooting a ball straight into the air and catching it without moving your arm. do this several times.

i also read recently about a drill ray allen does. he shoots contested jump shots from the "elbows" or sides of the free throw line. he gets +1 for every make and -2 for every miss. do this with a teammate. first to reach ten points is the winner. at least this will make your practice more fun. good luck.|||practice more , , whats slashing|||Yeah, weights throw it off. I don't think you can do both at the same time. Find your ideal size and then work on your shot. It does come back!
